Taluah Pride

Born in Kodiak and raised in Anchorage, Taluah is a proud lifelong Alaskan. Her journey into the dental field started at the age of 17 when she became a dental assistant. From the very beginning, she was fascinated by the way dentistry could transform people’s lives, especially the clinical side of things. Taluah always knew she wanted to connect with patients on a personal level and offer them care beyond just the procedure.

After spending 10 years as a dental assistant, Taluah felt the urge to expand her skills and knowledge. She went on to earn her Associates of Applied Science in Dental Hygiene from the University of Alaska Anchorage in 2011.

“I love taking care of my patients and providing them with the best care possible. It is really important to me that a patient understands their own dental health and what they can do to improve it,” she says.

Outside of work, Taluah is married to her high school sweetheart, and together they have two children. As a family, they love exploring all that Alaska has to offer, from camping and hiking to yoga and photography. Taluah also has a love for traveling, and in 2017, she had the incredible opportunity to serve as a volunteer hygienist at the Maasai Dental Clinic in Africa, when The Libby Group teamed up with the World Health Dental Organization.

Taluah’s passion for dentistry, adventure, and giving back shines through in everything she does, both at work and in her personal life.
