ABOUT

Registered Dental Hygienist

Taluah is a lifelong Alaskan born in Kodiak, and raised Anchorage. Taluah was first introduced into the dental field at the age of 17. As a dental assistant she was fascinated by what the dental field had to offer people. The clinical side of dentistry especially intrigued her and she had the desire to care for patients in a more personable way. After 10 years of dental assisting she decided to expand her skills and knowledge and pursued a dental hygiene degree. Taluah graduated University of Alaska Anchorage in 2011 with an Associates of Applied Science in Dental Hygiene.
“I love taking care of my patients and providing them with the best care possible. It is really important to me that a patient understands their own dental health and what they can do to improve it.”

Taluah is married to her high school sweet heart and they have two children. In her free time she enjoys all that Alaska has to offer, including camping, hiking, yoga, photography, and playing outside. Taluah also enjoys traveling and she served as a volunteer hygienist at the Maasai Dental Clinic in Africa in 2017, when The Libby Group teamed up with the World Health Dental Organization.
